This Privacy Policy explains how Fluxo ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit myfluxo.com or use the Fluxo application for Shopify (the "Service"). For data we process on behalf of merchants, see our Data Processing Addendum.
Information we collect
- Account data: your name, email, and authentication details when you create a Fluxo account.
- Store data (from Shopify): once you connect a store, we sync customers, orders, and products through Shopify's API to power segmentation, campaigns, and automated flows. This may include your customers' names, email addresses, and order history.
- Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the app and site are used (no cross-site tracking; this marketing site sets no advertising cookies).
- Billing data: handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To send the emails and notifications you configure to your contacts on your behalf.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- To communicate with you about your account, support, and product updates.
Sub-processors we share with
We use a small set of vetted sub-processors to run the Service, including:
- Shopify: the source of store data you authorize us to sync.
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Email and SMS delivery providers, and payment providers, used to send your campaigns and process billing.
We do not sell personal information.
Mobile numbers and SMS
Where a merchant uses Fluxo to send SMS, we process the mobile phone numbers and consent records that the merchant's subscribers provided to that merchant. We send those messages on the merchant's behalf and only to subscribers who opted in to that merchant. See ourSMS consent and opt-in page for how consent is collected and how to opt out.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.Mobile numbers and consent records are disclosed only to the messaging providers strictly necessary to deliver a message the subscriber asked for, and never to anyone else.
Subscribers can reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Your store's customers can exercise their rights through the merchant, and Fluxo honors Shopify's mandatory data erasure requests.
International transfers
We may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure hardening to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify affected parties of incidents as required by law.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you.
